Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary- Physician-led organization focused on value-based, patient-centered care for seniors and individuals with chronic health conditions.
- Full-time leadership and clinical management role in a collaborative, supportive team environment.
- Located in Fort Myers, FL, offering a positive work experience in a vibrant community.
- Manage and oversee a small patient panel (60-90 patients) with complex chronic conditions.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based, holistic primary care services in alignment with organizational mission.
- Participate in and complete Medical Director and Center Operations training, including leadership pathways and financial performance programs.
- Coordinate care with in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry, as well as holistic health offerings like acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and support the implementation of value-based care models.
- Utilize strong communication and analytical skills to enhance team performance and patient experience.
- Support sales and growth initiatives within the clinic as needed.

- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
