Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team within a progressive, senior-focused primary care setting.
- Champion value-based care, quality improvement, and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations within the primary care center.
- Manage and mentor Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs).
- Maintain a small, focused patient panel (60-90 patients) to ensure individualized care.
- Ensure exceptional care for seniors, primarily those with multiple chronic diseases.
- Participate in and lead value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational performance.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other disciplines.
- Integrate holistic health services, such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling, into patient care plans.
- Utilize leadership pathways and training programs to further clinic goals and personal growth.
- Monitor medical economics and contribute to center financial performance.
- Promote sales and growth activities in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate patient access to care, including oversight of complimentary transportation services.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as required.
