Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs)
- Maintain a small, focused patient panel (60–90 patients) to ensure personalized attention and quality outcomes
- Oversee clinical operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational standards
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient care tailored to seniors with multiple chronic conditions
- Drive the implementation of value-based care initiatives
- Participate in and complete leadership development programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Operations, and more
- Collaborate with consulting specialists (e.g., cardiology, podiatry) and support staff
- Utilize holistic health resources (acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, nutrition) in care plans
- Engage in medical economics, center financial performance review, and growth initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed
