We are seeking an accomplished Medical Director – Primary Care, MD/DO to provide exceptional leadership and clinical oversight for an outpatient primary care center. The Medical Director – Primary Care, MD/DO will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, supporting a small patient panel, guiding provider teams, and contributing to a value-based care environment.

Medical Director – Primary Care, MD/DO - Summary
- Lead and oversee all clinical operations in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Support organizational mission to honor and care for seniors through value-based, patient-centered care.
- Provide clinical guidance to a team of Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs).
- Work with a small patient panel (60-90 patients) for personalized, high-impact care.
- Champion quality improvement initiatives and holistic health services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor PCPs and NPs, promoting high standards of care and collaborative team culture.
- Oversee patient care for a senior population, typically managing 3–5 chronic conditions per patient.
- Implement value-based care models to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Lead and participate in training initiatives, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Operations, and Leadership Pathways Program.
- Monitor and enhance center financial performance, medical economics, and growth strategies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with in-house consulting specialists (cardiology, podiatry, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory guidelines, and ethical practices.
- Contribute to community health initiatives and patient outreach programs, including transportation support for patients.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a closely related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in geriatric or family practice settings required.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
