Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary outpatient primary care team serving seniors with complex health needs.
- Oversee and mentor PCPs and NPs to ensure delivery of coordinated, high-quality care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the outpatient primary care center, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
- Lead and supervise staff, including physicians and nurse practitioners, fostering a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence.
- Provide direct patient care to a small panel of seniors with multiple chronic conditions, focusing on relationship-building and continuity.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and participate in value-based care programs.
- Oversee clinical training, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director and Center Operations, and Leadership Pathways Program.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists and integrate holistic health services into patient care plans.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor outcomes and inform care strategies.
- Engage in local and occasional regional travel as needed for clinical oversight and organizational activities.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in geriatric or primary care settings.
- Leadership experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally for professional responsibilities.
