Medical Director, Primary Care - Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary primary care clinic focused on senior health and value-based care.
- Collaborate with in-house specialists to deliver integrated patient services.
- Engage in leadership training and participate in ongoing professional development programs.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a small patient panel, typically up to 250 seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Supervise and mentor primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) within the clinic.
- Ensure adherence to value-based care principles, focusing on improving patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Coordinate care with consulting specialists including cardiology and podiatry, as well as holistic health service providers (e.g., acupuncture, yoga, nutrition).
- Implement and monitor clinic operational standards and financial performance in alignment with organizational goals.
- Participate in and complete Medical Director and Center Operations training, as well as ongoing leadership development programs.
- Engage in medical economics initiatives and contribute to sales and growth strategies for the clinic.
- Maintain a patient-focused environment by ensuring optimal clinic workflow and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting is required.
- Leadership experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
