The Medical Director, Primary Care will oversee primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), ensuring exceptional care for patients with multiple chronic conditions. Medical Director, Primary Care – Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary primary care team focused on value-based care for seniors.
- Oversee clinical operations and mentor PCPs and NPs in outpatient settings.
- Drive quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Participate in organizational leadership programs, financial management, and clinic growth initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of primary care providers and nurse practitioners.
- Manage a patient panel of up to 240 seniors, most with multiple chronic illnesses.
- Conduct clinical oversight, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Participate in and complete advanced training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Operations, and Leadership Pathways.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists such as cardiology and podiatry.
- Integrate holistic health services into patient care, including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor performance and guide clinic financial and operational decisions.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in geriatric or family practice settings; prior leadership experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
