Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Full-time, leadership-focused clinical role within a respected primary care organization
- Direct responsibility for managing and mentoring primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery
- Manage a small patient panel of up to 240 seniors, primarily those with three to five chronic conditions
- Oversee and support a multidisciplinary team of PCPs and NPs
- Implement value-based care strategies to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Participate in ongoing Medical Director and Center Operations training, including PCP Black Belt Training, Leadership Pathways, and Medical Economics
- Monitor and improve center financial performance and patient growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and clinical standards
- Engage with consulting specialists and integrate holistic health services as part of the care model
- Support continuous process improvement and staff development

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Leadership experience in a healthcare or clinical environment strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with basic IT tools such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally for training or operational needs
