Medical Director, Primary Care - Summary
- Serve as a clinical and administrative leader within a primary care outpatient setting
- Lead a multidisciplinary team focused on providing value-based care to seniors and medically complex adults
- Champion innovative clinical programs and drive the organization’s mission to deliver affordable, VIP-quality care
- Engage in strategic initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a small patient panel (up to 250 patients), primarily seniors with multiple chronic conditions
- Oversee and mentor primary care providers and nurse practitioners, ensuring adherence to best clinical practices
- Coordinate with inhouse consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other fields to deliver comprehensive care
- Implement value-based care strategies and monitor key performance metrics
- Participate in leadership pathways, including specialized training in clinical operations, medical economics, and center financial performance
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture that supports holistic health services such as acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies
- Engage in community outreach and support initiatives, including facilitating patient transportation services
- Drive clinic growth and participate in sales and development programs as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a closely related specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally
