Medical Director – Primary Care Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and provide clinical oversight to primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Oversee a small patient panel (60-90 patients) to ensure personalized, high-quality care for seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Promote and implement value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in fields such as cardiology and podiatry, as well as holistic health services.
- Participate in leadership training, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Essentials, and Center Operations programs.
- Monitor and enhance center financial performance, patient growth, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement among clinical staff.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in geriatric or family practice settings.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as required.
