Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Lead clinical operations in a primary care outpatient setting focused on senior patient populations.
- Drive initiatives to improve health outcomes through value-based care models.
- Supervise and mentor a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Participate in organizational leadership and training programs designed for medical directors.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the outpatient primary care center.
- Manage a small, focused patient panel (60-90 patients) to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
- Supervise, guide, and support PCPs and NPs, fostering professional development and best practices.
- Implement and monitor value-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other disciplines as needed.
- Engage in holistic health services, including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition programs for patients.
- Participate in leadership training, center financial performance reviews, and growth strategies.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in geriatric or family practice settings required.
- Leadership experience in a clinical environment preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally for organizational needs.
