Medical Director – Primary Care Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor primary care providers (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs)
- Oversee a small patient panel (up to 90 patients), focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions
- Implement value-based care strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in and complete specialized training, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Essentials, and Leadership Pathways Program
- Monitor medical economics and center financial performance
- Contribute to clinic growth, community outreach, and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with clinical best practices, organizational policies, and regulatory standards
- Utilize in-house consulting specialists and holistic health services to support comprehensive patient care

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally for clinic oversight and training
