The Medical Director – Primary Care role is pivotal in ensuring excellence across our outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical oversight and administrative leadership, working closely with primary care physicians (PCPs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and support staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. The patient population primarily consists of seniors with multiple chronic conditions, requiring a comprehensive and empathetic approach to healthcare management.

Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Clinical and administrative leadership of an outpatient primary care center
- Focus on caring for seniors with chronic conditions through value-based care
- Oversee and support a multidisciplinary team of PCPs and NPs
- Guide quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor primary care providers, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff
- Manage a small patient panel (60-90 patients) to ensure personalized care
- Deliver comprehensive care to seniors with complex medical needs
- Implement and monitor value-based care programs and metrics
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists (e.g., Cardiology, Podiatry)
- Promote and coordinate holistic health services (Acupuncture, Tai Chi, Yoga, Nutrition)
- Participate in center operations, financial performance, and growth initiatives
- Engage in ongoing leadership and professional development training

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed
