Medical Director – Primary Care
We are seeking a committed and experienced Medical Director – Primary Care to join our dedicated outpatient healthcare team. As a physician-led, mission-driven organization, we focus on delivering comprehensive, value-based primary care to seniors, particularly those managing multiple chronic conditions. Our goal is to honor and serve our patient community with affordable, high-quality care that prioritizes patient outcomes and satisfaction. We value clinical leadership and seek a Medical Director – Primary Care who is passionate about patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and operational success.
As the Medical Director – Primary Care, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the outpatient center, ensuring the highest standard of care for a small patient panel. You will lead a multidisciplinary team consisting of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and professional development. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the well-being of seniors while guiding the growth and effectiveness of the clinical team.
The Medical Director – Primary Care will have access to robust support systems, including in-house consulting specialists such as cardiologists and podiatrists. Our holistic approach integrates services like acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition, providing patients with comprehensive wellness options. Additionally, patients benefit from complimentary door-to-door transportation services, ensuring reliable access to care and reducing barriers to treatment.
This leadership role offers an excellent work/life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule and manageable clinic hours. The Medical Director – Primary Care will manage a small patient panel, typically ranging from 60 to 90 patients, enabling a focus on personalized, quality care rather than volume-driven practice. The patient population primarily consists of seniors coping with multiple chronic illnesses, making experience in geriatric medicine or internal medicine particularly valuable.
Professional development is a key priority. New leaders benefit from dedicated training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training and Essentials, Medical Director and Center Operations modules, Leadership Pathways, and coursework in medical economics and center financial performance. These resources are designed to support your growth as an effective clinical leader and contribute to the ongoing success of the center.
Our organization provides a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and unique partnership opportunities. Full-time employees enjoy paid time off, a robust health and wellness benefits package (including medical, dental, and vision coverage), a 401(k) plan with employer matching, paid continuing medical education, and relocation support as needed. Partnership opportunities are available without a buy-in requirement, supporting your professional and financial growth as a Medical Director – Primary Care.
