We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director – Primary Care (MD/DO) for a dynamic outpatient clinic environment. Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in a primary care outpatient clinic, focusing on the senior population.
- Foster an inclusive, mission-driven environment that prioritizes comprehensive, value-based care.
- Support the professional development of providers through structured training programs and leadership pathways.
- Participate in executive decision-making to drive clinical and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a small patient panel (60-90 patients), focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Supervise and mentor primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), ensuring quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Oversee the delivery of value-based care, emphasizing preventive medicine and patient-centered outcomes.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in areas such as cardiology and podiatry, as well as holistic care providers offering services including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling.
- Lead initiatives in medical economics, center financial performance, and clinic growth strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training, including black belt training and essentials for PCPs, medical director leadership, and operational best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with transportation services to facilitate patient access to the clinic as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a closely related specialty.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
