Medical Director – Primary Care - Summary
- Lead an outpatient primary care center focused on senior patient populations.
- Drive clinical excellence through hands-on leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with providers and staff.
- Promote a mission-driven, patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the primary care center.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, value-based care to a small patient panel (60–90 patients), primarily seniors with chronic conditions.
- Implement and monitor care models focused on improved health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in leadership training programs to enhance operational and clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with in-house specialists and holistic health service providers for comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in community outreach and support initiatives to further organizational mission.
- Monitor and drive center financial performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize clinical workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a closely related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
