This role is ideal for board-certified (or board-eligible) physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine (MD or DO). The Medical Director – Primary Care will manage a small patient panel, oversee a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), and ensure the highest standards of value-based care. You will be instrumental in fostering clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and advancing the organization’s mission of honoring seniors with VIP-level care.

Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Leadership position in a physician-led, mission-driven outpatient primary care organization
- Focus on providing comprehensive, value-based care for seniors with chronic health conditions

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise a team of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring adherence to best clinical practices
- Maintain a small patient panel (maximum 60-90 patients), focusing on seniors with multiple chronic diseases
- Coordinate with inhouse consulting specialists, including cardiology, podiatry, and others, to provide integrated care
- Promote holistic health services such as acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition counseling
- Participate in and complete advanced leadership and clinical training, including Medical Director and Center Operations, PCP Black Belt Training, and Leadership Pathways Program
- Monitor and evaluate center financial performance and contribute to sales and growth initiatives
- Support patient access and continuity of care through door-to-door transportation coordination
- Foster a collaborative, mission-focused environment supporting staff and patient satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally
