Medical Director – Primary Care Summary
- Lead a dedicated primary care team focused on delivering comprehensive, value-based care to a senior patient population.
- Oversee clinical operations and provide mentorship to primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
- Champion a patient-centered approach that emphasizes quality, compassion, and accessibility.
- Utilize your clinical and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and exceptional patient experiences.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists and support the integration of holistic health services into patient care plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a small patient panel of 60-90 seniors, focusing on those with multiple chronic conditions.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to clinical team members, including PCPs and NPs.
- Ensure adherence to value-based care principles to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in and oversee clinical training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, PCP Essentials, and leadership development initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration with consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other relevant fields for comprehensive patient care.
- Promote holistic health offerings such as acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition services within the practice.
- Support operational excellence, including center financial performance and medical economics.
- Engage in community outreach and growth initiatives to support center expansion and patient engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in a relevant specialty.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in geriatric or family practice settings; leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
