The Medical Director – Primary Care position is structured to provide a manageable patient panel, giving you time to deliver personalized attention to each patient. You will lead a clinical team—including primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs)—and actively participate in the development and execution of clinical protocols and performance measures. Medical Director – Primary Care Summary- Lead clinical operations and staff in a primary care outpatient setting focused on senior care
- Drive value-based care initiatives for a diverse patient population with multiple chronic conditions
- Oversee and mentor a clinical team, including physicians and nurse practitioners
- Collaborate with in-house specialists and holistic care providers
- Participate in ongoing leadership and clinical training programs
- Provide direct patient care to a manageable patient panel (60-90 patients max)
- Supervise and support clinical staff, including PCPs and NPs
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with consulting specialists and holistic health service providers
- Ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance
- Lead initiatives to improve outcomes in value-based care models
- Participate in clinic operations, financial performance, and growth strategies

- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a primary care or geriatric setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally
