This Medical Director, MD/DO role centers on managing a dedicated clinical team, including primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, to provide comprehensive healthcare to a panel of seniors—many managing complex, chronic health conditions. As Medical Director, MD/DO, you will be responsible for maintaining a small, manageable patient panel to ensure high-quality, personalized care. Medical Director, MD/DO - Summary
- Lead clinical operations in a primary care setting dedicated to serving seniors with complex health needs.
- Champion value-based care while managing a small patient panel for optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including PCPs, NPs, and consulting specialists.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of primary care physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Oversee care for a panel of up to 250 senior patients with multiple chronic conditions.
- Implement best practices in value-based care, focusing on quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in clinical, operational, and leadership training, including PCP Black Belt and Medical Economics programs.
- Contribute to financial and operational performance, assisting with center growth and performance targets.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other fields.
- Integrate holistic health services, such as acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition, into patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards throughout clinical operations.
- Advocate for patients by facilitating transportation services and promoting access to care.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives and drive clinical excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills; prior leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with electronic health records.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
