As a Medical Director, MD/DO, you will oversee clinical operations, manage a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs), and ensure the delivery of excellent care to a panel of senior patients with multiple chronic conditions. The role involves direct patient care, leadership responsibilities, and the implementation of value-based care initiatives. Medical Director, MD/DO – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of PCPs and NPs to ensure high-quality patient care
- Manage clinical operations for a panel of 60-90 senior patients with multiple chronic conditions
- Oversee and participate in direct patient care in a primary care setting
- Implement value-based care strategies to improve patient health outcomes
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists in cardiology, podiatry, and other areas
- Participate in holistic health services, including acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition programs
- Support organizational growth through leadership in sales and patient engagement initiatives
- Complete advanced training in PCP Black Belt, Medical Director operations, and leadership pathways
- Ensure compliance with medical, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Monitor and enhance center financial performance and medical economics
- Facilitate patient access, including support for transportation needs

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting
- Leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed
