Medical Director – Summary
- Serve as the primary clinical leader overseeing medical services within a correctional healthcare facility.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active medical license and DEA registration as required by state regulations.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a closely related specialty.
- Minimum of two to three years of clinical experience in primary care, correctional medicine, or public health preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
