Medical Diagnostics Sales Representative - Summary
- Full-time sales role focused on medical diagnostics solutions for clinical settings.
- Responsible for growing and sustaining client accounts in the addiction, MAT/OTP, and pain management sectors.
- Based in Denver, CO, with travel throughout the assigned territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass territory specimen volume growth objectives by securing new accounts and expanding business within existing accounts.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline with at least five active leads at all times.
- Conduct a minimum of four in-person sales or service calls each day to healthcare professionals and clinic administrators.
- Accurately record all sales and service activities daily using CRM software systems.
- Consistently deliver on sales targets while adhering to approved expense budgets; submit expense reports at least monthly.
- Utilize effective prospecting methods, networking, and lead generation tools to identify and establish new customer relationships.
- Cultivate and manage strong, sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Sales Director regarding prospects, sales pipeline, and monthly volume forecasts.
- Represent Dominion Diagnostics at local and national conferences and tradeshows, generating new leads and engaging with potential and existing clients.
- Ensure all work and interactions comply with HIPAA confidentiality requirements and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Uphold and enhance the company’s reputation and brand image in all customer engagements.
- Participate in ongoing product and market training to maintain a competitive edge and up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Independently organize and prioritize territory activities to meet established deadlines.
- Extensive daily travel within the territory, with occasional overnight travel as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clinicians, physicians, and medical office staff.
- Strong closing skills and a record of effective cold calling.
- Experience managing large, multi-state or multi-region sales territories.
- Commitment to meeting and exceeding aggressive sales growth targets.
- Clinical contacts in the medical diagnostics field are desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Capacity to understand and effectively present clinical or technical product information.
- Prior experience in medical, laboratory, or pharmaceutical sales.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and persistent, with a demonstrated ability to stand out in a competitive landscape.
