The Medical Billing Specialist plays a critical role in the healthcare revenue cycle by ensuring the resolution of outstanding insurance receivables for both hospital and physician billing. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for back-end accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up, the resolution of aged accounts, and working with denied or underpaid claims. Medical Billing Specialist - Summary- Remote, full-time position supporting healthcare providers and hospitals
- Focus on accounts receivable resolution, denial management, and insurance claim processing

- Minimum 1-2 years of healthcare provider revenue cycle experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience using Epic, Cerner, Invision, Soarian, McKesson, Allscripts, Meditech, or similar systems
- Knowledge of UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500 billing, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
- Strong multitasking and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to conduct detailed research and problem-solving
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical abilities
