The Medical Billing Specialist plays a crucial role in the financial operations of a healthcare facility. This position is responsible for efficiently managing the billing process, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining positive relationships with patients and third-party payers. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will work closely with an outsourced billing team to reduce outstanding accounts receivable and provide timely follow-up on claims and patient inquiries. This full-time or part-time position is based in-office and requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Candidates for the Medical Billing Specialist position are expected to have a minimum of a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in healthcare billing, or completion of a recognized medical billing and coding school program. Experience in a primary care setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in billing, collections, and coding, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies and reimbursement procedures.
