Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Summary
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive patient care
- Engage in both clinical and administrative duties within a fast-paced medical practice
- Utilize medical knowledge and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding service to patients and their families
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs accurately
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient appointments
- Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by providers (per licensure scope)
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Support front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and answering patient inquiries
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program or a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current certification or licensure in good standing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
- Experience in a primary care or outpatient medical office preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
