Medical Assistant (MA) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage front-desk tasks as needed.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient visits.
- Follow established protocols for infection control and patient safety.
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatments or procedures.
- Support billing and insurance processes as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in general medical assisting or a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
