Medical Assistant (MA) - Summary- Support physicians and healthcare staff in daily clinical operations
- Deliver hands-on patient care and maintain medical records confidentiality
- Work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment

- Greet and room patients, recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Prepare patients for examinations, assisting physicians during procedures as needed
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens

- Conduct in-office laboratory tests (e.g., urinalysis, strep screens)
- Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and equipment

- Process prescription refill requests as authorized
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists

- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- BLS/CPR certification required or to be obtained within a specified time after hire
