Medical Assistant (MA) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform both front office and back office duties, including patient intake and administrative support
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service through positive, professional interactions with patients and staff
- Contribute to a team-focused environment dedicated to delivering compassionate and competent care
- Work independently with strong critical decision-making skills
- Assist with reception tasks, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and managing appointments
- Utilize EMR systems, particularly EPIC EHR, for accurate patient record management
- Support insurance processing and verification as needed
- Help ensure a safe and efficient office workflow, including maintaining a neat and organized environment
- Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for examination
Salary & Benefits

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC EHR (minimum one year required)
- Experience recording vital signs (minimum one year required)
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of health insurance processes is a plus
- BLS Certification preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant credential preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care
