Medical Assistant - Summary
The Medical Assistant role in our primary care office involves providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the efficient operation of the practice. Working directly with the provider, the Medical Assistant will help deliver quality patient care and maintain a welcoming, organized environment for all patients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet patients, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure that they are clean, stocked, and organized for each patient visit.
- Assist the provider during patient examinations and minor procedures, as needed.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as rooming patients, measuring height and weight, and collecting specimens when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems as directed.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all aspects of office operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
