IDR is seeking a Media Planner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves developing and managing strategic media plans across various digital channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns, and providing insights to improve media performance. The company specializes in digital advertising and marketing solutions, focusing on innovative audience engagement strategies.
Position Overview for the Media Planner:
- Develops and manages strategic media plans across search, display, video, and paid social channels, including both time-bound and always-on campaigns
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop, revise, and manage cross-channel funnel strategies related to media and audience journeys
- Partners with stakeholders to understand goals and objectives, determining the optimal media mix to achieve desired outcomes
- Develops targetable audience strategies based on defined audience segments and stays current with evolving media landscapes and data privacy issues
- Maintains holistic media and audience plans, establishing budgets and forecast projections, coordinating with Media Ops and agency partners as needed
Requirements for the Media Planner:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the online advertising space
- Exposure to media and advertising technology platforms (DSPs)
- Foundational understanding of how media platforms inform and support media planning
- Experience with media planning tools preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
