The Med-Peds Hospitalist Nocturnist (MD/DO) role presents a unique and rewarding opportunity for physicians who are board certified or board eligible in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. This locum tenens position is focused on providing high-quality nocturnist coverage for both adult and pediatric inpatients, excluding neonates, at a leading medical facility. As a Med-Peds Hospitalist Nocturnist, you will play an essential role in managing acute and chronic medical conditions during overnight hours, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. This opening is ideal for dedicated clinicians seeking to leverage their dual training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in a dynamic hospital environment. The electronic medical record (EMR) system in use is Cerner, providing robust tools for clinical documentation and workflow efficiency. Subspecialty support is readily available, enhancing your ability to deliver comprehensive care.
This opportunity is ideal for Med-Peds physicians who are licensed in Michigan and hold an active DEA registration, along with certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The hospitalist team expects an average of 25 nightly admissions, providing ample opportunity for clinical challenge and professional growth.
