Mechanical Project Manager - Summary
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading mechanical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring that all project goals are met while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects.
- Ensure the safety of field personnel and compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee project labor productivity, quality assurance, and quality control measures.
- Manage project budgets, financial projections, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Handle material and equipment procurement, ensuring timely availability for project needs.
- Administer change order management processes to effectively address project scope adjustments.
- Develop and maintain strong owner/client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and manage project cash flow and ensure timely billing and collection processes.
- Supervise, mentor, and direct project personnel and subcontractors as required.
- Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and clients.
- Implement company operating policies, procedures, plans, and programs on all assigned projects.
- Be available to support direct reports during their working hours as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction project management or a closely related field.
- Proficiency with project management software, including Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
- Demonstrated ability to perform business mathematical functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Organizational skills for managing technical data and project documentation.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Proven time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
