Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Manage field personnel safety, labor productivity, quality assurance, and project coordination.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with owners and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project financial outcomes, including budget projections, reporting, and cash flow management.
- Direct procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Administer change order management processes and ensure accurate documentation.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and executed plans and programs.
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of safety for all employees and clients involved in each project.
- Utilize building information modeling (BIM) and other industry-leading technologies to support project execution.
- Adhere to sustainable construction practices and support the company’s commitment to innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience in mechanical construction.
- 5-7 years of work-related experience in construction project management, preferably in mechanical construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential project management duties, including team leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, Vista-Viewpoint Project Management & Accounting Software, and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Competence in basic business mathematical functions and the ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Organizational skills for handling and archiving technical data.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time and details.
