Mechanical Project Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including preconstruction, design-assist, execution, and close-out.
- Ensure safety, productivity, and efficiency of all field personnel involved in the project.
- Manage and monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow, cost projections, and reporting to ensure financial goals are met.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, maintaining timely and accurate supply chain operations.
- Review and administer change orders, ensuring that project scope adjustments are properly documented and executed.
- Maintain rigorous quality control, contract compliance, and thorough project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Drive financial performance by overseeing cost control measures and ensuring timely billing and collection processes.
- Mentor and lead project teams, fostering accountability and encouraging professional growth among team members.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience within the mechanical contracting industry is required.
- At least 5 years of direct experience on industrial projects and in design-assist roles.
- Demonstrated success managing projects valued between $15M and $200M.
- Experience in healthcare, data centers, laboratories, higher education, or semiconductor environments is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and Viewpoint construction management software.
- Strong business mathematics and analytical abilities are essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
