Mechanical Project Manager - Summary
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be accountable for managing mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all field personnel assigned to mechanical construction projects, maintaining compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Oversee field labor productivity and quality control, facilitating effective project coordination and timely execution of project milestones.
- Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, budget tracking, and preparing detailed financial reports for internal and client review.
- Procure materials and equipment necessary for project completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Administer change orders, document project modifications, and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee project cash flow management and personnel allocation, ensuring optimal use of resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and plans, and ensure that all project activities align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide effective direction and leadership to project teams, and be available during the working hours of any direct reports to support project needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in mechanical or construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management and office software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing technical documentation and complex schedules.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with minimal supervision.
- Solid business mathematics proficiency and the ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
