Mechanical Project Manager - Summary
- Oversee mechanical construction projects from conception through completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive management to define project goals and strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, and closure phases for mechanical construction projects.
- Define project scopes with key stakeholders and develop detailed execution plans.
- Conduct pre-planning meetings and establish project budgets, schedules, and job cost controls for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Set and uphold project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to executive management.
- Identify and document project challenges, advising management on solutions.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with field staff to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Assume Project Engineer responsibilities as needed.
- Assist in labor negotiations and strategic planning for project success.
- Represent the company in client and project meetings, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Manage all financial aspects of projects, including preparing cost-to-complete reports, monthly billings, and subcontractor billings.
- Work closely with the purchasing department to manage equipment and material procurement.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by corporate management and apply innovative management techniques to maximize team performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing and mechanical construction projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of industrial construction and engineering design principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Navis Freedom, and COINS software.
- Ability to implement management techniques that align with corporate practices and project requirements.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and access work sites including ladders, trenches, attics, and confined spaces as needed.
- Adequate vision and hearing to perform job duties, including reading printed/digital documents and recognizing alarms or verbal instructions.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely handle small objects.
