As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of complex mechanical construction projects. Mechanical Project Manager - Summary
- Lead mechanical construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with executive management and all relevant stakeholders to define project scope and execution plans.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress review meetings to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Represent the company in client and project meetings, supporting its mission of excellence and innovation in the construction industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of project planning and execution, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and work plans in collaboration with estimating and field operations teams.
- Conduct pre-planning meetings and set performance standards for project teams.
- Monitor project progress through regular meetings with executive management and field staff.
- Identify and document potential project issues, proactively advising management and stakeholders.
- Lead weekly meetings with field staff to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Assume Project Engineer responsibilities when necessary and assist with labor negotiations and strategy development.
- Manage all financial aspects of the contract, including quarterly cost-to-complete reports and monthly billings.
- Review and prepare monthly subcontractor billings and coordinate buyouts with purchasing.
- Implement innovative management techniques to enhance employee performance and project outcomes.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by corporate management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing and mechanical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and engineering design concepts.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Navis Freedom, and COINS software platforms.
- Ability to apply advanced management techniques that integrate corporate practices with project activities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods, lift up to 15 pounds, read printed and digital documents, climb ladders, access confined spaces, and wear PPE as needed.
- Good hearing and manual dexterity for safe and effective project management in various environments.
