Mechanical Project Manager - Summary
The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of mechanical construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves leadership in project planning, resource allocation, financial oversight, and team management, making it an essential position in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction, construction, and project closeout phases for mechanical projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Ensure safety compliance for all field personnel and actively promote a safety-first culture on every job site.
- Oversee labor productivity, implement quality assurance measures, and coordinate trades to optimize project outcomes.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, reporting, cash flow, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Direct material and equipment procurement activities, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to support project schedules.
- Administer change order management processes and maintain strict contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop strong owner and client relationships through effective communication, transparency, and responsive service.
- Supervise, mentor, and support project staff, providing leadership and fostering professional growth within assigned teams.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards to maintain organizational integrity and project consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5–7 years of mechanical construction project management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage large-scale mechanical projects.
- Strong business mathematics, budgeting, and forecasting proficiency.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience interpreting construction documents, diagrams, and schedules.
- Knowledge of archiving and managing technical data effectively.
