Mechanical Project Engineer - Summary
- Support project managers throughout all phases of mechanical construction projects, including plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and financial management of projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Work collaboratively with field supervisors, BIM coordinators, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with project direction, planning, and financial tracking.
- Support field supervisors and attend project meetings as needed.
- Maintain and update project logs to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and price change orders in coordination with project leadership.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Assist in the submittal and procurement processes to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Collaborate with the BIM department and attend coordination meetings when required.
- Download, organize, and distribute project files and manage responses from design teams.
- Develop man-loading charts with input from foremen and superintendents.
- Ensure timely submissions to contractors and assist with project projection processes.
- Perform printing, copying, and other administrative tasks as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction engineering management, construction management, or a closely related field.
