Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct project estimating, including take-off and analysis, to ensure accurate cost projections.
- Manage project scheduling, with a focus on manpower allocation and timeline adherence.
- Oversee the management of Requests for Information (RFIs) to facilitate clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive submittal packages and manage the flow of contractor-provided submittal data.
- Assist in data population for various project forms, supporting thorough project documentation.
- Prepare and process project progress billings in accordance with project milestones.
- Provide support in technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving related to HVAC air equipment, piping equipment systems, and plumbing equipment.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing design, as well as system operation.
- Understanding of commercial and industrial construction sequences and processes.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and testing procedures for HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE data and guidelines for industry-standard practices.
- Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling, MS Access (or other database programs), and advanced skills in MS Excel and Word.
- Strong internet research skills and above-average verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills for handling and archiving technical data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline preferred; alternatively, five years of industry experience as a Construction Project Engineer is recommended.
- Demonstrated experience in project administration, scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control accounting, and equipment/material procurement.
