Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with project planning, execution, and close-out to ensure successful delivery of mechanical and plumbing projects.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility throughout each project phase.
- Coordinate project schedules, focusing on timely material procurement and delivery to support construction timelines.
- Prepare, submit, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals, maintaining effective communication with project teams and clients.
- Oversee invoicing processes by verifying billing accuracy and supporting timely financial transactions for ongoing projects.
- Support equipment buyout by sourcing, evaluating, and recommending suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with project duration planning, including the development of timelines and monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Compile and maintain comprehensive product lists to facilitate procurement, installation, and quality assurance processes.
- Implement quality control measures, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate and participate in inspections, ensuring all work meets regulatory and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, project engineering, or construction project management.
- Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, facilitating effective collaboration across diverse project teams and client groups.
- Proficiency in standard office and project management software, with an aptitude for learning new technologies as needed.
