Mechanical Engineer PE – HVAC & Plumbing Design Summary
- Lead the design and engineering of HVAC and plumbing systems for major projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer all phases of HVAC and plumbing engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, and specification writing.
- Supervise and mentor multi-discipline engineering and design teams throughout project lifecycle.
- Direct and monitor activities across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Lead proposal development and contribute to strategic business growth initiatives.
- Conduct energy studies, audits, and analysis to optimize building performance and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and the Climate Action Plan.
- Present complex engineering concepts and findings to clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
- Participate in design-build project delivery and provide technical guidance throughout construction phases.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE License) required.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering design and project management experience in HVAC and plumbing systems.

- Demonstrated expertise in HVAC and plumbing design, including design-build project experience.
- Proficiency in performing energy studies, audits, and system analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of state and local codes, including experience with Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
- LEED Accreditation is considered a plus.
