Mechanical Design Engineer - Summary- Lead and execute mechanical design projects for custom automation and manufacturing systems
- Develop and manage 3D models and large assemblies using SolidWorks
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, vendors, and customer teams to deliver complete solutions
- Mentor and support junior mechanical designers and engineers
- Support onsite system integration and commissioning activities

- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial or automation environments
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling, assemblies, and detailing
- Strong understanding of GD&T, materials selection, and fabrication methods
- Demonstrated experience designing systems with robotics, pneumatics, conveyors, and servo systems
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience supporting system build, integration, and commissioning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experienced in leading mechanical design for automation projects
