Mechanical Construction Project Manager - Summary
- Lead and supervise all phases of mechanical construction projects, from estimating to final completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet regularly with executive management, estimating, field operations, and stakeholders to establish project execution plans and ensure safety compliance.
- Organize pre-planning meetings and establish comprehensive project budgets.
- Develop and maintain schedules for cost control, labor, materials, and equipment management.
- Define project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
- Review project progress with executive management throughout each phase, from inception to completion.
- Conduct weekly meetings with field staff to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for procurement of materials and equipment.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts, including preparing quarterly cost-to-complete reports.
- Prepare monthly billings for submission to general contractors or project owners.
- Oversee and review subcontractor billing processes monthly.
- Represent the organization at project meetings and contribute to labor negotiations and strategies.
- Document project issues and communicate pending problems promptly to management.
- Assume project engineer responsibilities as needed and take on additional tasks as directed by corporate management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; substantial industry experience may substitute for formal education.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience managing commercial and/or industrial mechanical projects, with high-purity process piping experience considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to apply advanced management techniques and optimize team performance.
- Knowledgeable in construction industry practices, processes, and standards impacting project execution.
- Physical requirements include the ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, read digital and printed documents, climb ladders, access confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment as needed.

- Manual dexterity for handling small objects and operating tools or equipment essential to the role.
