Mechanical Assembler - Summary
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations. You will assemble parts and products to precise specifications, ensuring that all items conform to blueprints and company standards. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies following detailed instructions and procedures.
- Determine and follow methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Set up and adjust equipment, maintaining strict adherence to blueprint specifications and tolerances.
- Complete repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately on an assembly line.
- Fill out required paperwork and maintain records associated with assigned work tasks.
- Lift or move materials, typically not exceeding 15 pounds, as part of regular duties.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met.
- Adhere to safety and quality guidelines at all times.
- Participate in occasional overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
