The Maternal Child Registered Nurse (RN) position is a key clinical role within Decypher’s healthcare services division. As a Maternal Child RN, you will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period and supporting the specialized needs of neonates. Maternal Child Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical standards
- Assess, observe, and accurately document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress throughout the care continuum
- Obtain detailed patient and family histories, including advanced medical directives as needed
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications, prescribed treatments, and manage admissions and discharges per established protocols
- Promote patient convalescence and rehabilitation through education and supportive care
- Manage care for patients undergoing advanced procedures, particularly those at high risk for infection or reliant on life support equipment
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of neonatal transitional care and best practices in maternal health
- Float within similar maternal and child health specialties as required to meet patient care demands
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive compensation: Base rate plus premium at $60 per hour, compliant with federal and state regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 US states or territories
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP), and STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support)
- United States citizenship
- Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background check
