This includes preparing precise material mixes according to work orders, maintaining accurate records in line with ISO, GMP, and HACCP standards, and operating equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and railcar unloading systems. Adherence to Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures and commitment to all safety regulations is mandatory, safeguarding both personal and team well-being.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the Material Handler will ensure that all materials are properly labeled, tracked, and stored, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, division, fractions, and percentages, is essential for preparing mixes and computing rates and ratios in practical situations. This role requires the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
