Material Handler - Summary- Responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse environment.
- Plays a key role in inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
- Works collaboratively with team members to ensure operational goals are met.
- Maintains adherence to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of materials and products.
- Store materials in designated areas following established inventory procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for distribution or production use.
- Assist with inventory management by performing regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely order processing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks as needed (with proper training and certification).
- Follow all company safety policies and participate in safety initiatives and meetings.
- Promptly communicate any safety hazards, equipment issues, or material shortages to supervisors.
