Material Handler - Summary
- Execute shipping and receiving tasks to fulfill customer requirements and internal performance measures.
- Operate safely and efficiently within a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and follow all company safety and maintenance procedures.
- Support overall company objectives and contribute to operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pull products based on customer orders and prepare items for shipment.
- Receive inbound shipments, verify contents, and store materials appropriately.
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate various types of forklifts, including high-reach models up to 50 feet.
- Utilize different storage and retrieval systems as required by the facility.
- Input and track data using computer-based programs such as Bill of Ladings, shipping manifests, and other relevant applications.
- Ensure all documentation, both electronic and paper-based, is accurately completed.
- Maintain all warehouse equipment according to facility maintenance guidelines.
- Observe and promote all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in the company’s continuous improvement initiatives and support the corporate strategy.
- Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Experience with measuring devices such as tape measures.
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions in English.

- Ability to work 8-hour shifts with flexibility for daily or weekend overtime, as business needs dictate.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of warehouse work, including lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
