Material Handler - Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for various warehouse functions including receiving, storing, staging, and shipping materials and finished products. This position requires using computers for work order management and inventory tracking, as well as operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming shipments in designated warehouse locations.
- Pull materials from inventory to fulfill work orders and deliver them to production lines or shipping docks as required.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Utilize computer systems to track inventory levels, record item locations, and support ongoing warehouse management activities.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by packing, wrapping, labeling, and documenting shipments according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to established housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lift and move heavy objects, including barrels and bags weighing 50 pounds or more.

- Familiarity with barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
